A Holistic Assessment of Construction and Demolition Waste Management in the Nigerian Construction Projects

This study provides a holistic assessment of the current waste management strategies implemented in Nigerian construction projects. The data used this were collected from both primary and secondary sources. through survey questionnaires distributed via emails targeted respondents who are professionals area Lagos metropolis, while review related literature. Out 200 distributed, only 168 valid forms retrieved. accounted for 84% entire suitable analysis. An exploratory factor analysis was conducted reliability research instrument tested using Cronbach’s alpha coefficient reliability. result indicated that clustered into three groups, comprising practical legal framework modular construction, sustainable procurement material optimisation, proper detailing design. In conclusion, Nigeria assessed as being “not enough”. However, it is recommended there an upgrading either approach or method application order to ensure its sustainability.
